The Recluse Chili Cook-Off

Who makes the best chili in the community? You decide. The Recluse Chili Cook-Off brings cooks from across Northern Campbell County to the community hall for an afternoon of food, a pie & dessert auction, music, and a whole lot of visiting.

Everyone who comes to taste votes for their People’s Choice, and the proceeds go straight to keeping the hall running. Come hungry.

How it works

  • Cook a pot of chili big enough to share with the crowd.
  • Set up at your assigned table; tasting runs in the afternoon.
  • Attendees taste, score, and vote for their People’s Choice.
  • Stick around for the pie & dessert auction — it’s the heart of the fundraiser.
